Our U8 Teeball teams (Mozzies and Dragonflies) s are specially designed for boys and girls aged 8 and below.
Teeball introduces kids to softball in a fun, non-competitive way and our coaches are older Hurricanes players and parents who have a great rapport with the little ones.
We understand it can be tricky to make training immediately after school and that kids learn best if they can put into practice something they've just learned.
With that in mind, we train before our games on Saturday morning before the game that lasts just under an hour.
The U10 teeball teams (Hornets and Avengers) are also designed for boys and girls under the age of 10 years.
Teeball is a modified version of softball. The game includes flexible rules, no pitcher and children hit off a tee.
New players are welcome and it is a great introduction to playing softball.
Training for our junior teams are held on Wednesday afternoon at Hawker fields.
Games usually last 1 hour.
The Comets are a softball team for boys and girls under 12 years of age. In this age group, a pitcher is used and there are fewer modified rules so that players progress their softball skills.
Some boys and girls in this age group will start to participate in U12 Canberra Pride teams, may travel to local tournaments or represent the ACT.
Players new to softball are always welcome because our focus is on development while having fun.
Our coaches and mentors have years softball experience, including state representation.

The Spitfires offers a development pathway for high school boys and girls in our junior high school team.
